Our Story

La Nota Restaurant is a family-owned and operated Venezuelan restaurant and market proudly serving the Jacksonville, FL community since 2016. As the first Venezuelan restaurant in Jacksonville, La Nota brings the vibrant flavors and rich culture of Venezuela to Duval County. More than just a place to eat, La Nota is a culinary and cultural hub—a space where guests can enjoy authentic homemade dishes, shop for Venezuelan goods, and feel right at home.

Our menu celebrates traditional Venezuelan cuisine with a wide variety of mouthwatering options. From savory arepas and crispy empanadas to our popular tres leches dessert, every dish is made in-house using fresh, high-quality ingredients. We are especially known for our homemade soups, including the beloved Sancocho and our hearty Mondongo, which is served daily with rice and avocado. For those looking for great value and taste, our daily lunch specials offer satisfying and authentic meals. Each special is served with rice, black beans, sweet plantains, and salad. Monday features Thin Sliced Milanese, Tuesday brings flavorful Chicken Stew, Thursday offers tender Rotisserie Chicken, and Friday wraps up the week with our delicious BBQ Pork Ribs.

La Nota Restaurant also features a beautifully maintained event space available for private rental, accommodating up to 70 guests. It was our fist time in and the owner came and explained the menu & was so sweet and polite. Service was great and the food was delicious! We had blackberry juice, soup with chicken, tequeños, mini arepas, Cubano (my son isn’t a fan of mustard so it’s plain), patacon w/chicken and Pabellon. Highly recommend the hot salsa but it is HOT!🥵
